🌐Web Developer
As a Senior Website Development Engineer, I'm passionate about building, maintaining, and improving complex digital experiences. With 6+ years of coding experience (since 2019), my focus is always on the end-user, guiding projects from concept to deployment. I specialize in high-performance web solutions using JavaScript, TypeScript, and a variety of modern frameworks, comfortable working with both static and server-rendered architectures. Currently, I bring this expertise to Datadog in New York City as a part of the WebOps team.
My approach to web development is driven by three core pillars: the talented people I collaborate with, the unwavering quality of the products I deliver, and the positive impact I can create for users. Performance, accessibility, and usability are not just priorities; they are the foundation of every project I undertake.

💼Work Experience
Datadog
Senior Web Development Engineer (Front-End)
April 2021 – Present
I joined Datadog in early 2021 as a Software Engineer for the Websites team very early in my career. Since then, I grew into a Software Engineer II and now a Senior Web Development Engineer. As the team has grown, so has my role and responsibilities, allowing me to take on more complex projects and lead initiatives that have a significant impact on the company’s web presence.
At Datadog, I update, build, and enhance Datadog websites, including securitylabs.datadoghq.com(Opens in a new tab) , datadoghq.com(Opens in a new tab) , and docs.datadoghq.com(Opens in a new tab) . Additionally, I develop tools and processes to help facilitate team efforts, including replatforming Datadog websites from Bootstrap, jQuery, and HugoSSG to TailwindCSS, AstroJS, and DatoCMS.
I frequently cross-collaborate with Marketing, Brand Design, Community teams and more across the company to enhance Datadog’s standing as a monitoring and security platform. Some of my favorite interpersonal aspects also include onboarding and mentoring new teammates, helping them to integrate quickly with both meaningful contributions and an enjoyment of their work.
About this project and website

Currently, David’s Place acts as a portfolio and visual representation of my resume (everything above if you’ve made it this far). The most robust project on this site is the Cookbook. I have more I want to build, but it’s fun all the same!
